A Greek Wine Adventure with Lafazanis Winery

Join us for a relaxed and flavourful dive into Greek wine with Lafazanis Winery, a well-known producer from the Peloponnese. Lafazanis is loved for their approachable, food-friendly wines. We will also explore indigenous Greek grapes like Agiorgitiko and Assyrtiko, known for their fresh, fruity character and natural pairing with Greek cuisine.

We are excited to welcome Vassilis Lafazanis from the winery. He grew up surrounded by vineyards and winemaking, learning every part of the process early on in life. What started as play quickly became a passion, leading him to study Oenology. In 2018, at a very young age, Vassilis took on the role of head oenologist at Lafazanis. With the support of experienced mentors and a modern winery, he developed a hands-on approach rooted in tradition, curiosity, and respect for the craft.

This class is a great opportunity to taste expressive Greek wines, hear firsthand stories from the winery, and gain a deeper appreciation for one of the world’s most exciting wine regions. Expect great wine samples, great stories, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
