About this Event
The Centre for Missional Leadership is pleased to welcome Rev. Dr. Jonathan Wilson for a gathering around the fireplace.
This evening will be a facilitated conversation with Jonathan, with opportunity to ask him questions about his work, the church, and systemic theology. Before the event, participants will be invited to submit questions that they would like to ask him.
About Rev. Dr. Wilson
Jonathan Wilson has been an older brother / father to many of us who ache for beauty in the witness of the church. His passion for Jesus, justice, the creation, and Christian community have inspired the next generation.
Rev. Dr. Wilson is a respected theologian, author, and professor, the author or editor of more than 15 books, including Why Church Matters: Worship, Ministry and Mission in Practice; God So Loved the World: A Christology for Disciples; Gospel Virtues: Practicing Faith, Hope, and Love in Uncertain Times; and God’s Good World: Reclaiming the Doctrine of Creation.
Over the course of his career he taught at Regent College, Carey Theological Seminar, Acadia Divinity College and Westmont College.
