Join GBS – A Studio for Everyone at PJ’s Coffee in Platte City, MO on Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. for a special community fundraiser supporting Episode 2 of our original project, The Weeb.GBS is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides a creative studio experience for autistic and neurodivergent artists and others with different abilities. Through collaborative art, storytelling, and projects like The Weeb, our participants build confidence, friendships, and real‑world skills in a supportive environment.
This free family‑friendly event will feature the chance to:
- Learn more about The Weeb and what Episode 2 will make possible
- Meet some of the local artists involved in the project
- See examples of their artwork and characters
- Contribute to the programs
Hear how GBS is making space for every voice to be seen and heard
Funds raised will help cover production costs for Episode 2 of The Weeb, including supplies, filming and editing, accessibility needs, and future community showings.
Because this event takes place during Autism Awareness Month, your support is a timely way to move from “awareness” to action by investing directly in autistic and neurodivergent creatives in our community.
