Welcome to A Gathering of Mountain Voices: Poetry on the Front Porch
Mountain Voices brings together poetry from three mountain regions for an immersive front porch gathering of poems, photographs, stories, and memories.
Join us in person as we celebrate the landscapes and experiences that shape these poets’ voices.
Linda Blaskey • Ozarks
A Delaware Division of the Arts Masters Fellowship recipient and editor of Quartet, Linda brings an Ozark voice to the gathering.
Joyce Enzor Maust • Appalachians
The Delaware House of Representatives Poet Laureate and a curator of poetry events, Joyce brings memories rooted in her Appalachian childhood.
Jim Bourey • Adirondacks
Born in Malone, New York, Jim is the author of several poetry collections, including Out There and Back Again and Season of Harvest, a collaboration with Linda Blaskey. He is a contributing editor for The Broadkill Review and coordinates poetry events at Downtown Artist Cellar in Malone. His wife Linda’s photographs frequently accompany his work.
Although Jim cannot join us in person, he has entrusted Jack Mackey to read a selection of his poems. Jack will also share poetry of his own.
