A Gathering For These Chaotic Times (FREE)

With the recent wildfires and ongoing climate change, as well as political instability and uncertainty, a range of feelings might be triggered for many of us. Experiencing these emotions alone can be difficult and coming together in community can provide support and deeper understanding.

We'll start with a gentle mindfulness activity, followed by a discussion, then an optional creative process.

We'll meet on the beach in Santa Monica. Please bring a chair or blanket/towel to sit on, feel free to bring a snack or something to drink, dress in layers, wear sunscreen or bring an umbrella, and bring whatever else you might need to take care of yourself during the gathering.

Lot 5 South is just south of the intersection of Ocean Park Blvd and Barnard Way. It's an hourly parking lot where you can use card or cash to purchase a 2-hour stub for $2 and place it on your car dashboard. We will have signs to direct you to the sand where we'll meet.
