A Free Concert for Juneteenth celebrating Black American Composers

Join us in the Robert Frost Auditorium, one of the most breathtaking Modern buildings ever designed, as we celebrate the first major work by an African American to be performed by a major US orchestra (Still's Afro-American Symphony); the first African American woman to have her music played by a major U.S. orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (Price); the first black composer to receive the Pulitzer Prize in Music (Walker); and the first African American to conduct a major American orchestra in a performance of his own works (Still with the LA Phil at the Hollywood Bowl).

Free parking in the designated FREE parking lot at the corner of Elenda and Farragut - South of the Robert Frost Auditorium. Please respect the residents and do not park in the neighborhood.
