Tammy of Tammy Holland Studios grew up in Interior Alaska and came from a family of many creative people, so it was only fitting that she too became an artist. Tammy is a sculptor, painter, and jeweler, and if you ask her, she won’t tell you her favorite medium! It is clear through her work that it doesn’t matter what medium Tammy is using, she is inspired by nature - the land, animals, plants, and landscapes.
Denise of Smell This has been in Fairbanks for almost 17 years and will always consider it home. She started making candles to give away as gifts but loved it so much that it turned into her full-time job. Many of the scents that Denise creates are inspired by other small businesses around Fairbanks.
Kayla of Lala Bead Wrap Bracelets was born and raised in North Pole and loves the community, closeness of family, and the many adventures that living in Alaska provides. Her artwork is inspired by the beauty of Alaska - from the northern lights to the mountains and rivers. The possibilities are endless.
Amy of Wild Alaska Thread Co drew inspiration for her business name through the wild landscapes, rugged mountains, deep forests, and endless skies that make up Alaska, and she wanted her brand to reflect the raw, natural beauty that surrounds her. Amy primarily works with macrame but has recently become interested in incorporating natural elements into her work.
