A Lessons and Carols service is a Christian worship service that combines Bible readings with Christmas carols, hymns, and choir anthems. The service tells the story of the birth of Jesus, the fall of humanity, and the promise of the messiah.
Members of the Bay area chamber choir group, Exultate Deo, will present the music for this service while readings will be shared by supporters of the group. The event is free and open to the public with a reception to follow.
All are welcome.
Free-will offerings are not required but any donations are appreciated to ensure events of this nature can be celebrated annually.
