Seventy-eight blank cards. Your markers. Your rules.
For our third annual spooky season craft night, you'll color your own full tarot deck kit. Each kit comes as a black-and-white 78-card deck, ready for you to work your creative magic in any manner you want. You'll leave with a deck that's entirely yours.
You don't need any tarot experience. The kit teaches you as you go.
We'll also be joined by Nina Morrison of Night Owl from Iowa City. Nina is offering short 3-card readings throughout the night. She reads tarot as a reflective practice rather than fortune-telling, and she'll do divination if you ask for it. She comes from a theatre background and studies with Spirit of Tali and The Tarot School.
Readings are about 5 minutes and cost $5, paid separately at the event. Sign up at the front when you arrive. Readings go in order, so keep coloring while you wait.
CHOOSE YOUR TICKET
Every ticket includes a Color Your Own Tarot kit and coloring supplies. You can select a ticket option that includes a book from our curated selection (five book options and respective tickets), or skip the book and come for the deck only.
Note: We will have a few extra copies of each book, so if you change your mind the night of the event, we can honor a limited number of swaps.
Just the Deck is the same kit, the same night, and the same reading signup, without a book. We want as many people at the table as possible, and this ticket is part of how we do that.
