Let’s awaken our natural vitality through music and movement, art, poetry, a shared meal, restorative play and rest!
About this Event

We are excited to welcome you to a day of personal and communal restoration.

Biocentric (life centered) principles will guide us. Invitation, choice, radical welcome of all, music, movement, restorative play, art, poetry, and beauty will be our container.

We will move between the indoor community room and outdoor gardens of Farnsworth House, with time for a shared potluck lunch, rest, and magic!

This day will hold space for :

• connecting to yourself, others, and the fullness of life.
• nourishing your body, spirit and soul in a space of respect, care, and radical welcome.
• creativity, play, companionship, and Joy!
• savoring delicious food, and soft spaces for rest.
• holding what is, releasing what we need to let go, slow expansive exhale.
• exploring new and old possibilities that encourage Aliveness!
• bilingual and bi-cultural community, spanish/english interpretation making participation possible and joyful for native spanish and english speakers.

Pre-registration preferred please! Walk-ins will be welcome if there is still space.

Payment at the door via Venmo or Cash!

Cost: $90.00

Sliding Scale: $60.00 - $120.00. We offer the opportunity of sliding scale rates for those without means to pay the full cost, and for those who can to share from their abundance.

We will offer two partial or full scholarships through gift economy abundance! Contact us at [email protected] to inquire about a scholarship. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

90 South Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

• Enter the main door and the community room will be through the lobby on the right hand side. You will see a Biodanza Sign on the door of the community room.
• Approx 8-10 minute walk from Forest Hills T on the Orange Line. Both 38 and 39 buses stop directly in front. Free street parking on surrounding streets.
• There is also a small public parking lot available on weekends at the Margarita Muñiz Academy on Child Street. Onsite parking is for Farnsworth House Residents only.
• Please contact us directly if you are in need of accessible parking or would like additional parking ideas.
• This venue is fully accessible. We will be on the first floor with ramp access.
• This offering is bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Please remember we dance barefoot, with socks or indoor shoes only.
• Please bring a water bottle! And if you are able, something to share for our community potluck!
• We ask in the spirit of loving care and community that you stay home and rest up if you are feeling unwell and might be contagious, and come back to dance with us as soon as you’re feeling better!

Nos guiara los principios biocentrica (la vida en el centro). Y nuestro contenedor; la invitación, elección, bienvenida radical para todes, la musica y el movimiento, el juego restaurativa, el arte, la poesía y la belleza.

Estaremos entre la sala comunitaria y los jardines de afuera de la Casa Farnsworth, con tiempo para un almuerzo de traje compartida, descanso, y la magia!

El día tendrá espacio para:

• Conectar con nuestre misme, otres, y la plenitud de la vida.
• Nutrir su cuerpo, espíritu y alma en un espacio de respeto, cuido y bienvenida radical.
• La creatividad, el juego, compañerismo, y Gozo!
• Alimentos sabrosos, y lugares suave para descansar.
• Abrazar lo que hay, soltar lo que necesitamos soltar, y exhalar lento y expansivo.
• Explorar posibilidades nuevas y conocidas para animar un sentido de Vida plena.
• Experimentar una comunidad bilingüe y bicultural, con interpretación en ingles y español haciendo posible una participación de disfrute para todes.

Prefieramos que pre-registran por favor! Se puede llegar sin registrar si hay cupos todavia.

• Entra por la puerta principal y la sala comunitaria está en frente a la mano derecha. Verás un rótulo de Biodanza en la puerta de la sala comunitaria.
• Ocho a diez minutos caminando desde la estación de Forest Hills T, de la línea naranja.
• Los buses del 38 y 39 buses paran justo enfrente.
• Parqueo gratis en las calles de los alrededores. También hay un parqueo público pequeño disponible en la academia de Margarita Muñiz en la calle Child.
• El parqueo de Farnsworth solo está para residentes. Por favor, contactanos directo si se necesita parqueo accesible o para ideas adicionales de parqueo.
• Este lugar es accesible. Estaremos en el primer piso con acceso de rampa.
• El evento es bilingües en español e inglés cuando hay personas por lo cual español es su primera lengua y les ayuda disfrutar la clase.
• Por favor, recuerden que danzamos descalzos, o con calcetines o zapatos únicamente para uso dentro de casa.

Por favor, trae una botella de agua contigo. Y si esta a su alcanze, una comidita para compartir en el almuerzo comunitario de traje.

Les pedimos en el espíritu del cuidado amoroso que si no te encuentres bien de salud y podría ser contagiosa, que se quede en casa a descansar y vuelve a danzar con nosotres una vez que se sienta mejor.
