Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the Museum Tug Ohio on Saturday, September 13 at 11 am or 1 pm. This is more than just a guided tour — it's a rare opportunity to explore areas of our historic ships that are typically off-limits to the public and get an insider’s view of the hidden spaces that keep these vessels running.
During this immersive 90-minute experience, you’ll follow in the footsteps of a chief engineer and uncover the secrets of ship operations,.
From the Schoonmaker's original boiler bricks to the latest restoration efforts, you'll get up close and personal with maritime history — all from the unique perspective of a chief engineer.

- Tours last approximately 90 minutes and are offered to groups of 12 or fewer at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

- This is a physically demanding tour with steep, narrow stairways and low headroom. Be prepared for climbing, bending, and navigating tight spaces.
