Curious about what it’s actually like to study massage therapy? Join us at ACMT Calgary South for A Day in the Life of a Massage Student — an interactive, hands-on experience designed to give prospective students a genuine look at life as an ACMT student.
This isn’t your typical open house. Instead of simply touring the campus and hearing about the program, you’ll have the opportunity to experience parts of the massage therapy student journey for yourself.
Drop in anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. You do not need to arrive right at 4:00 PM or stay for the entire three hours. Come by when it works for you and experience the event at your own pace.
What You’ll Experience
During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Connect with a current ACMT student ambassador
- Explore the Calgary South campus
- Step inside the classroom and see where students learn
- Try a simple anatomy and hands-on learning activity
- Experience elements of the student clinic environment
- Learn how assessment, treatment planning, documentation, professionalism, and clinical reasoning are incorporated into training
- Ask current students candid questions about the program and everyday student life
- Meet members of the ACMT team and learn more about the student experience
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about upcoming program start dates, admissions requirements, financial resources, and next steps if you’re ready to begin your massage therapy education.
Whether you’re seriously considering becoming a Registered Massage Therapist or are just beginning to explore massage therapy as a career, this is your chance to experience the program beyond a traditional campus tour.
