Join Professional Storm Responders at A Day At The Park for an exciting, hands-on weather experience designed for all ages! Our team will be bringing weather safety, science, and fun together through interactive activities and educational displays that help our community learn more about the world around them.Guests will have the opportunity to explore our Cloud Identification Station, featuring large visual displays and educational boards showcasing different cloud types and what they can tell us about upcoming weather conditions. Learn how meteorologists and storm spotters recognize changing weather patterns by studying the skies above.
Children and families can also enjoy a variety of weather-themed giveaways and activities, including weather stickers, stamps, weather fidgets, and other fun hands-on items throughout the event.
Our team will also host engaging weather demonstrations to help explain how storms form, how severe weather develops, and why weather awareness is so important in our communities. These demonstrations are designed to be educational, interactive, and easy for all ages to enjoy.
One of the highlights of our booth will be our “Meteorologist for a Day” experience, where guests can step into the role of a weather broadcaster! Participants will have the chance to stand in front of a weather backdrop, present weather forecasts, and experience what it’s like to be on-air while learning more about forecasting and severe weather communication.
