Join Dallas-based Courtesy of and Prisma Film Lab on Saturday, October 17th for a half-day art experience in Fort Worth. We will begin with a guided tour of the photography archives at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art - one of the nation's major repositories for photography with over 45,000 exhibition-quality prints spanning the history of the medium. This will be followed by a docent led tour of the Kimbell Art Museum’s first-ever exhibition celebrating the art of photography - “Photography’s First Century: Masterworks from the Bibliothèque national de France”.
Afterwards, we will head to Salsa Limón for tacos and to debrief together. If you are a photographer or are simply interested in and enjoy the medium, this is an intimate opportunity to discover, gain inspiration, and learn from experts in the medium.
Schedule: 10:15am Meet at the entrance to the Amon Carter; 10:15-11:45am Amon Carter Archives; 12:15-1:15pm Docent-led tour at the Kimbell; 1:30 Lunch at Salsa Limón
