Photo Critique Class
About this Event
Join us for a Photo Critique Class moderated by Masure Gallery Director & Chief Curator Simone Fischer. Simone earned a Master’s Degree of Fine Art with an emphasis in Photography from Pacific Northwest College of Art at Willamette University (2020). She taught graduate and undergraduate level (MFA & BFA) student critique seminars as the Graduate Thesis Exhibition Coordinator & served as the college's fine art documentation photographer. She has been mentored by leading contemporary photographers such as Robert Lyons, Chair of the Photography Program at the University of Hartford, & Teresa Christensen, Chair of Photography at PNCA and former documentation photographer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York City. Simone has been published in Juxtapoze, Boom Magazine, Art Review & ArtsyScoop Magazine.
Simone brings her fine art pedagogy & publishing experience to Fort Worth Camera to create a community built around critique. Critique is vital for artists in order to improve and entertain ideas and thoughts they might not have considered on their own. Submit one photograph to be critiqued by Simone & other local photographers.
