Join storyteller Steph Brittain as she follows Ariadne’s journey unraveling through the maze of love, betrayal, loss, joy and the bulls and the bees.
A Dance with the Minotaur’s Sister is a retelling of the Greek Myth of Theseus; the Hero in the Labyrinth through the eyes of Ariadne and her Brother the Minotaur. A story of a bull, a boy, his Sister and what happens when the hero leaves.
Before the thread and before the tangled and twisted maze, there was Ariadne pulsing with life and rhythm.
From a dance floor in the forest and the labyrinth's twisting and tangled passages to the starry skies of the Island of Naxos, Steph Brittain weaves an intricate tapestry of love, strength and courage.
