Anil Jaising's been tinkering with code, infrastructure and product development from the beginning of his career with expertise in both financial services and startups. He teaches in the graduate program at New York University and is well regarded as an Agile, Executive and Technical Coach.

Bernie Maloney’s helped grow businesses from breakeven to beyond $1B / quarter. The teams he’s worked with have delivered products ranging from award winning consumer electronics to network infrastructure to services & payments. He’s worked with firms including Bell Labs, HP, TiVo, Cisco, Wells Fargo and more. In addition to his client work, he's taught Agile Product Development and Agile Leadership at Stanford Continuing Studies. This workshop is designed for leaders, managers and practitioners with a grasp of single team Agile. While you can take this course at any time, you'll need to hold a CSPO® and have 1 year of relevant experience for approval for the A-CSPO credential.

We’ll cover topics including advanced product planning and forecasting, customer and product discovery, hypothesis validation as well as multi-team Agile and product backlog management. Participants will build skills to grow learning organizations that handle complexity and can thrive in change.

As participants come from diverse industries, they often learn from each other’s experiences, contexts and perspectives. Typical participant roles span:

• How soon can I get my A-CSPO certification? This certification requires at least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a Product Owner. Before the workshop, please update your Scrum Alliance profile with such experience. At the end of the workshop, your Instructor will review that experience. When it's aligned with the experience requirement and you've completed all course assignments, we'll let the Scrum Alliance know of your successful completion of the course. You'll receive an email from them to accept your license agreement with Scrum Alliance and activate your new certification.
• Wait! Don't I Need to Take an Exam to be Certified? No. The only requirement to earn the A-CSPO is the successful completion of the full course, including exercises and 1 year of validated experience as a Product Owner.
• Can I Miss Several Hours of the Workshop and Still be Certified? No. Scrum Alliance does have an attendance requirement. Because Scrum Alliance requires 16 hours of instruction, if you miss more than 15 minutes of the workshop, you will not be eligible for certification, yet you will be welcome to attend the rest of the workshop. Don't worry, if something big comes up, we'll move you at no charge to a future workshop.
• Can I Make Up Missed Material by Attending Part of Another Workshop? No. Amongst other factors, each class moves through the material at different paces. This means it's unreliable to predict a clear window where a set of previously missed learning objectives will be covered. There are further complicating factors in partial attendance. For the smoothest experience for all, you're welcome to make up missed material by attending a future workshop in full at no charge.
• What do I need to bring to class? You'll need a computer with microphone, camera and speakers. Use https://fast.com to test your internet connection. After the download numbers stop, use the "more" option to calculate your upload speed. You'll need 5 down / 1 up - and more is better. Now, while you're in class you'll be actively using your computer to participate in exercises, so plan to peek at your email only during a break or at lunch.
