For our final screening of the year, we present a Creepy Crawly Christmas to make your toes curl.
Wearing a special necklace to protect her from evil spirits, Kay takes a holiday to exotic Southeast Asia, but after taking the necklace off (because it’s ugly) is attacked by hundreds of huge biting centipedes, the result of a family curse. Only the good wizard, with the help of ghosts, can break the curse by battling the bad wizard in a supernatural showdown. Can the centipedes be banished? Or will they return for a new victim?
Wizard fights, exorcism, fire balls, dancing chicken skeletons, ghost babies, and of course, bucket loads of creepy crawly giant centipedes, make this a revolting treat. Sourced from a long out-of-print Hong Kong Laserdisc bootleg with English subtitles.
The feature is supported by a programme of “bugsploitation” film trailers and a short, silent Super 8mm edit of Earth vs The Spider (1958).
