A Creative Sunday Afternoon at Gold Palm in Uptown Oakland (third Sundays!)

Join us on the thirds Sundays this Spring (April 20, May 18, June 15) for an afternoon of creativity whether you have a creative project/practice in the works and simply want a change of scenery, are craving meeting new creative people, or want to use the time to get inspired - all in a bright, beautiful space.

3:00-3:10: Please arrive on time!

3:10-3:30pm: Brief facilitated introductions to help you make connections.
~3:30-5:00pm: Self-guided time to choose to:

• Focus on your own creative projects
• Engage in creativity boosting prompts and exercises
• Share your work/ideas/questions with others
• Meet with current or potential future collaborators
• Brainstorm, draw, read, daydream
• Enjoy local teas and snacks
• Whatever else inspires you

~5:00pm: Closing thoughts and optional shares

5:00-5:30pm: Happy Hour for more mingling and connection or keep working!

• Charged devices (plugs are limited)
• Hotspot if wifi is needed
• Notebook and writing utensil
• Headphones (if your project has sound or you prefer your own music)
• Books, magazines or other creative things to read/share

• Creative projects that are super messy (paints, charcoal, etc)
• Noisy creative projects that cannot be contained with headphones

• Butcher paper, markers, and colored pencils for doodling, drawing and brainstorming
• Prompts to get your creative juices flowing
• A typewriter for embracing all the typos
• Inspiring books on creativity
• A dreamy, instrumental focus playlist
• Local teas and light snacks

• Gold Palm is located at 1900 Telegraph Ave which is two blocks from 19th Street BART and generally easy street parking on Sundays.

• Gold Palm is CLOSED to the public during this private event which is awesome for us, and also means no menu orders.
