He has published over 60 novels (including two number 1 New York Times bestsellers) and holds a Guinness World Record. His co-written novel 'Peter and the Starcatchers' was developed for Broadway by Disney Theatrical, collected five Tony Awards, and has been in the top ten of produced plays in the US for over a decade. He is currently working on a series of books for Disney, the tenth novel in his bestselling Lou Boldt Seattle crime series, and a stage musical adapted from his young reader novel, 'Steel Trapp.'
