Please join the Women’s Fund of Door County for “A Conversation with Meg Kissinger: Supporting Families and Breaking the Shame of Mental Illness” at 6pm on September 17th in the Upper Level of the Donald & Carol Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. The conversation focuses on supporting caregivers and families of those with mental illness with Celebrate Women Luncheon keynote speaker and author of While You Were Out: An Intimate Family Portrait of Mental Illness in an Era of Silence Meg Kissinger. Meg is joined by Emily Kraynak of Door County Medical Center and moderator Allycia Bretl of Door County Medical Center. Attendees are encouraged to join the discussion during a question-and-answer portion of the evening. Following the conversation, the evening continues with a Mental Health Fair with local mental health resource providers including:

Both the conversation and Mental Health Fair are free to attend, but donations are appreciated. Please join us the following day for the 17th Annual Celebrate Women Luncheon at 11:30 am at Stone Harbor in Sturgeon Bay.
