Join us for a thought-provoking presentation and conversation on the pressing issue of climate change. This event will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at English Lutheran Church of Bateman. Let's come together to ask questions of an expert and to share ideas and explore solutions to address climate change. Dr. James Boulter is a professor of chemistry and chair of the department of Public Health and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. There, he teaches and collaborates with students and colleagues in research that emphasizes issues of air pollution, climate change, and sustainability. He often speaks publicly on topics broadly connected to the topic of climate change, including planetary atmospheric science, global and regional climate science, perceptions of and responses to climate change, the intersection of religious faith and climate, renewable and carbon-free energy, and climate policy solutions. He is a life-long Lutheran, married to an ELCA pastor, dog-lover, and an active musician.
