JazzBuffalo and Seneca One are thrilled to join forces to present a special tribute to the legendary Vince Guaraldi and his iconic soundtrack for Charles Schulz's timeless 1965 holiday classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

This event will showcase the Ed Croft Trio as they perform the cherished music composed by Guaraldi. It's an event that promises enjoyment for the entire family and will take place in the spectacular setting of Seneca One Tower's Lobby and Auditorium.

A Charlie Brown Christmas, one of the most beloved holiday albums of all time, holds the distinction of being certified Triple Platinum, with sales exceeding three million copies. The recording session earned its place in the GRAMMY® Hall of Fame in 2007 and was also added to the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry, recognized as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically important" in the realm of American recordings. The album includes a definitive rendition of the Peanuts theme song, "Linus and Lucy," along with two original compositions, "Christmas Time Is Here" and "Skating," now considered holiday classics. Additionally, it features arrangements of timeless holiday tunes such as "O Tannenbaum" and "What Child is This," among others.

The Ed Croft Trio, led by bassist Ed Croft, a multiple winner and nominee in the annual JazzBuffalo Poll for individual performer, rising star, and jazz artist of the year, will headline the event. Joining Croft is the exceptionally versatile pianist Ivan Docenko, renowned in the region for his musical prowess. Completing the trio is the extraordinary drummer, Wasik. Throughout the performance, Ed Croft will guide the session with storytelling, sharing anecdotes about Guaraldi and the creation of this classic album.
