Martha Hill and Sue Richards will present a Celtic Harp Concert on Sunday, March 15, at 2:00. Their repertoire will include Scottish, Irish, Swedish, and original tunes played as both solos and duets.
Sue is a four-time Scottish harp champion, and a renowned performer on the Celtic harp. She is a much sought teacher and workshop presenter. She has released solo recordings, as well as, collaborations with Ensemble Galilei and guitarist, Robin Bullock. Sue teaches at BMCA.
Martha is an award-winning Celtic harper, an educator, and musician. She teaches and performs primarily in North Carolina. An Appalachian Mountains native, who recently located “home”, she has a special interest in Scottish and Irish music and the musical traditions of her ancestors.
Sue and Martha have toured and played in Scotland several times with the ensemble, “Harpa.” In 2023 Harpa was invited to perform at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival. They also perform regularly with the southeastern harp ensemble, Banrìgh.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime. Seating is general admission, first-come first-served. Online ticket sales end 1 hour prior to showtime. Tickets may still be available for purchase in the main office after online sales have ended.
