On Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 1pm, all are welcome to the Sugar Street Bar & Grill, located at 1341 N. Sugar Street in Lima. It's a celebration of the amazing life of one of the most important and influential voices and minds in not just Lima radio, but local and regional live music and entertainment across the board. From Rock-N-Roll, to Blues, to Country. Even Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, and Stand-Up Comedy. If you went to see a band, a live music or entertainment event of any kind, or even turned the radio on or went to social media and heard something 'different' you've never heard before from a local or regional act in the last 25-30 years, chances are you have Jim 'Diesel' Edwards to thank in some way. He was the 'man behind the voice', and Saturday, April 11th 2026, we celebrate his contributions and life.
Beginning at 1pm, see and experience live music from Will Freed , a word from Bryan Bucher, the gospel sounds of Brian Archer, but BE THERE FOR 'HISTORY'. Witness the triumphant return of a Lima original. LIVE and in-the-flesh, the band that was instrumental in putting Lima on the map as a live music destination in the mid-to-late 90's, in turn paving the way for the live rock boom of the Allen and Auglaize County music scene in the 2000's.
