About this Event
Join Us for A Celebration of Dr. John Jost and his Impact on Haitian Music!
Former members of the Orchestre Philharmonique Sainte Trinité, Jean Rudy Perrault and Dr. Canes Nicolas, warmly invite you to an afternoon celebrating Haitian classical music and honoring the extraordinary legacy of Dr. John Jost.
Presented with the support of BLUME Haiti, the Immigrant Family Services Institute, and the Haiti Education Network, this special concert will bring together musicians, alumni, former teachers, students, and friends of Holy Trinity across many generations.
The event also marks the 50th anniversary of the Orchestre Philharmonique Sainte Trinité’s historic residency at Tanglewood, where young Haitian musicians worked alongside members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
During the event, we will launch the John Jost Summer Music Camp Scholarship Fund and introduce the John Jost Society, a legacy circle dedicated to sustaining music education opportunities for future generations of young musicians in Haiti.
A free will offering will support All Saints Episcopal Church.
