A Celebration of Crankies!

A rare chance to see a magical artform with some of its most inspired performers: boxes of delight that will give you miniature glimpses into another world. In this show you will discover the art of the crankie: a story told through scrolling pictures in a box turned by ‘cranks’ – a delightful and unexpected folk artform which brings a whole new dimension to storytelling for grownups.
