A Cat's Guide to Caring for Cats
About this Event
📚Lecture: "A Cat's Guide to Caring for Cats"
🎤Speaker: Stephanie Anne (Author and Cat Enthusiast)
How do you introduce a new cat into your home? Why does your cat knock things off shelves? What does that tail flick actually mean? And how many litter boxes do you really need? Whether you're a lifelong cat owner or thinking about adopting your first feline, this lecture explores the science and psychology of cat care, common myths, personality types, and practical tips for helping your cat thrive. We'll also take a look at pop culture and internet icons that get cat care right. (Don't worry, all topics and discussion points have been reviewed by professional cats.)
Stephanie Anne is an Ottawa-based author and oddball extraordinaire. In her free time, she volunteers with the Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue and raises money for cats in need through her fundraiser: The Book Purge. She does all of this with help from her four free-spirited felines: Minerva, Finn, Bubs, and Janey.
