The A Cappella Choir joins forces with the choirs of Southeastern Louisiana University, Jackson State University, and Tougaloo College for a powerful collaborative concert recounting the story of the 1961 Freedom Rides. Through freedom songs, hymns, choral works, and spoken narration, the performance honors the courage of those who risked everything to challenge segregation in interstate bus travel across the Deep South.The concert is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis
