When? 31 August 2025 for 2026
Where? Barbell Training Complex, At the rear of Just Nice Clean Cars, Miller’s road, Warwick CV34 5AE
Start time 10am
Weigh in times: (attend ONE weigh-in)
Day before lifting 24 hour weigh in – 10am to 11am OR 5-6pm.
If weighing in on the day of competing, weigh in is 8 to 8.30am.
Athlete Limit: 35 per day

BTC team are back for their second qualifier this season.
Barbell Training Complex is the home of the Green Monster (no, not Eliot), the iconic EliteFTS monolift that has seen some of the biggest squats in the Islands, and the only 1000lb squat done in the 2020s in UK! The gym boasts a strong team of lifters, including the likes of UK’s strongest bencher Sam Drozdzik and 440kg single ply squatter, Gym’s Primus Motor, Eliot Page. And it is the home of Mr. Photograph, Marco ‘Sumo’ Tambis!
This competition will suit novice lifters with lot of support going around and plenty of space to warm up and cool your nerves! For the experienced the hosts Eliot and Adam offer quality competition arrangements, strong spotters and very, very good equipment to lift on.

Is your membership up to date? Remember – you need to produce your membership at weigh in, otherwise you cannot compete. Your membership is immediate and you recieve an autoconfirmation with your new membership number in the email and also as a PDF attachment. You MUST produce this at weigh in. You will need a 2025 membership at weigh in.
