About The Artists:
𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐚 - singer, songwriter and musician, loves New Orleans and Blues piano. Jack’s Waterfall is his musical adventure. Pop, blues, jazz, country, folk, gospel and global influences all meet at The Waterfall. Whether performing solo or with an ensemble, Jack always projects a unique energy of inclusiveness. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫 is a composer of classical music, a piano driven singer-songwriter, and a performer known for his varied musical palette and output of emotional works. Born and raised in Port Jefferson, New York, music was always a part of his family. His father Andrew and sister Andie Juliette are both also singer-songwriters, occasionally performing with Cole as a trio dubbed Tricycle. His work as a songwriter pulls from genres such as soul, jazz, chamber pop, soft rock, progressive rock, and musical theatre. He has released extensive solo material and in 2023 also composed music for the immersive outdoor Forest Music installation at the Wild Center natural museum in Tupper Lake, New York. Future projects include a full-length solo album and the release of the debut album of his undergraduate band Arbutus and Vines. Instagram @colefortier
𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚 is a writer and performer who straddles the arts and sciences, creating musical and poetic works based on lifelong passions for the environment, music, and family history. Formally educated in the sciences, she has been a classroom teacher, college adjunct, science author in New York publishing houses, and communications director of NY Sea Grant at Stony Brook University where she also performed in the university jazz band and opera company. She has also sung with the USO on an army base, an international orchestra in Greece and in honky-tonks from Alaska to Maine. Since retiring from Stony Brook, she has become a performance poet, often reading from her book of poetry, Flash Flood, then breaking out into song.
