A Book Observed: A Grief Observed

Join CSLI staff for presentation and discussion of A Grief Observed, C.S. Lewis's deeply personal look at grief following the death of his wife, Joy. This book shows what philosophical ideas of pain look like when suffering becomes personal. Lewis openly wrestles with sadness, anger, loneliness, doubt, and even his understanding of God. Rather than offering simple answers, he allows us to see how grief can challenge faith and change the way we understand love and loss.
We will explore Lewis's testament of how grief can gradually transform, leaving room for remembrance, love, and a renewed understanding of faith.
