The late Domenico Clerico, with Altare and Sandrone, was one of the pioneers and perfectionists of the “modern” style of Barolo (the famed “Barolo Boys”). In this tasting, his niece Cecelia Rocca, who now runs the winery with her aunt and brother, will lead us through their range of truly remarkable wines…all the way up to their heralded $150 single-vineyard Barolos, universally regarded as among the greatest expressions of Barolo there are.
