Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County, New College of Florida, and the Palmetto Marriott for a commemorative program honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11. You are invited to be part of this meaningful ceremony of remembrance, community, and hope.

On this anniversary, we will welcome local elected officials, leadership from Manatee and Sarasota County Schools, the Detwiler Family, New College leadership, and students from area schools. Kay Daniels, the elementary school teacher who was sitting next to President George W. Bush in a second grade class in Sarasota when he received the word that America was under attack on that day, will be honored for her courage and service.
Together, we will reflect, remember, and stand united—ensuring the stories of those who were taken from us are never forgotten.
The event will close with a moment of silence, followed by bagpipes and color guard.
