Join us for a fantastic weekend and an Introduction to the Lake District Fells.
70 km of hiking over 2 days taking in some of the most Iconic Mountains in the Lake District.
Itinerary.
Thurs evening.
Meet up in Ambleside YHA accommodation, once you have bagged your bed we will all meet up in the lounge over a drink and get to know your fellow walkers and the guides for the next couple of days.
Friday
Starting early we have our 1st day of hiking where we head to Keswick. we take in the following
Ullscsarf 726m, High Tove 515m, High Street 608m, Bleaberry Fell 590m, CastleRigg Stone Circle
We then head into keswick YHA for the night and over a drink we have a debrief of the day
Stats 16 Miles 3286 ft elevation
Saturday.
We catch a 10 minute bus ride to Threlkeld then we take in the following summits
Clough Head 726m, Calfhow Pike 660m, Little Dodd 770m
Great Dodd 857m, Watson's Dodd 789m, Stybarrow Dodd 843m
Raise 883m, Whiteside 863m, Helvellyn 949m, Nethermost Pike 891m, High Crag 884m, Dollywagon Pike 858m, Fairfield 873m, Hart Crag 827m, Dove Crag 792m, High Pike 656m and finally Low Pike 508m.
Stats 18 Miles 5071 ft elevation
After an amazing 17 summits we head into Ambleside YHA and celebrate with a celebration meal and a few drinks.
