A 1950 Holiday Radio Show

Come journey back with us to the days of live radio when hundreds of personalities and programs brightened the air waves. By its nature, radio must enlist the imagination of its audience; as a result, a program or performance remains fresher in our minds than the television show we saw the night before. People who lived through these years will find this trip down “Radio Memory Lane” a refreshing visit to a bygone era; those too young to remember the “Golden Age of Radio” will begin to understand its appeal and true value as entertainment. We will all understand what the famous radio personality, Fred Allen, meant when he said, "We are too big for television. We had to shrink to fit into the little tube."
