The Ride-On 4 Carrie is so excited to announce the first of our three events for 2026 and it's one of yours (and ours) favorite Sunday-Fundays of the winter ~ The RO4C Spaghetti Dinner!We know you'll be looking for something to do on the first Sunday after the Super Bowl, so be sure to mark your calendar correctly for Sunday, February 15th, 2026.
We're really excited to have you, along your friends and family, join us for another fantastic day of food, fun, fellowship and fundraising to bolster the continued growth, and success of this yearly kick-off event!
Again this year, we will be helping two recipients. As we're sure you'll agree from their bios, each of our Newlywed beneficiary's current situations have motivated the RO4C to step up both our efforts, and our expectations for what can be achieved with the support of our community, and our faithful RO4C followers.
Our first introduction is 35-year-old Kelsey Kronwall: It was January ’24 when then 33yo Kelsey, and her husband Brandon, received a life-altering diagnosis of her Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. The cancer had already spread to her bones so to reduce the risk of paralysis, Kelsey endured a spinal fusion surgery right away. Currently, she is on her fifth type of chemo as doctors work to slow the spread of the disease. Uncertainty grows with no timeline, and limited remaining treatment options and her ability to work becomes more limited. Yet, these May ’23 Newlyweds are committed to living life fully and believe that dreams are still worth chasing ~ Their future uncertain, and plans for children no longer possible, they have chosen hope as they embrace every day together while surrounding themselves with love, laughter, and adventure.
Next is 39-year-old Maple Grove resident Jon Spandel: Married in June ’25, Jon and Rachel were blessed just one month later with their pregnancy news. Sadly, less than a month after that, their celebration was shaken when Jon was rushed to the ER with his leg swelling to twice its normal size. Imaging revealed a tumor on top of Jon’s femur which was obstructing blood flow ~ Further tests found growths in his leg, his abdominal lymph nodes, spleen, and lung, which were later confirmed as Stage 4 Diffused Large B-cell Lymphoma. Sadly, the tumors on Jon’s femur have made the bone fragile and leave him unable to work… As they navigate Jon’s cancer battle and their pregnancy at the same time, Jon and Rachel know the road will be difficult and have placed their trust in their faith of the Lord, their faith in each other, and the faith and love of all of their family and friends.
