4 Day event painting outside in Independence County. A Workshop, competition, and special events including our Preview Party on Friday night which is open to the public and contest entries are viewable and up for sale.
October 6 - Plein Air Painting Workshop with Farley Lewis. Open reception for Competition Artists and sponsors.
October 7 - Main Street Plein Air Paint Out! Artists will capture the charm of Main Street.
October 8 - Countryside Paint Out & Demo. Artists will paint the countryside around Batesville. Demo with Farley Lewis at 9am at River Park and the PUBLIC IS WELCOME!
October 9 - Preview Party Exhibition & Awards. Painters paint until noon. The Preview Party, which is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, will showcase the art competition entries and awards. Plus, the competition art pieces are available for purchase.
October 10 - The Plein Air Festival Exhibition will be on display at Gallery 246 and will be open to the public for purchase.
Although the Plein Air Festival is over, Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) is having their annual ARTOBERFEST festival on this day. Artists will be setting up around downtown and will sell their work directly to the public.
