🎳 9th Annual Junior Bowling Youth Championship
Hosted by Metro Bowl & the Junior Bowling Association of McHenry County
Get ready for one of the biggest youth bowling events of the year! Join us for a fun, competitive, and fully USBC‑certified tournament designed to celebrate young bowlers and award thousands in SMART scholarships.

🎯 Event Highlights
- USBC‑certified, 3‑game singles handicap tournament
- Standard Metro Bowl house pattern
- Two age divisions:
• 13 & Under
• 14–18 (*18‑year‑olds must be SafeSport certified*)
- $50 Entry Fee
• $36 Scholarship
• $9 Lineage
• $5 Admin
• *Add $6 if not a current MCUSBC member*
📌 Important Notes
- Bowlers must have a 2025–2026 USBC Youth membership.
- Members from other associations are welcome but must join MCUSBC for $6.
- Online registration only — no walk‑ins.
- USBC number + latest league recap sheet required at registration.
- Lane assignments based on order of entries.
- Check‑in opens 30 minutes before start time.
- No‑shows are not eligible for SMART scholarship funds.
🎳 Tournament Format
- 3 games on the same pair
- Handicap: 90% of 215
- No lane re-dressing
- Max 6 bowling balls per bowler
👕Dress Code
Jeans/slacks with a jersey, polo, or t‑shirt.
No holes, athletic shorts, tank tops, or inappropriate graphics.
Shorts/skirts/skorts must be fingertip length or longer.
🙌 Sportsmanship & Conduct
This is a youth event — positive behavior is expected from all bowlers and spectators.
No alcohol, tobacco, abusive language, or equipment abuse.
