We are excited to announce our 9th Annual 5k Run/1 Mile Walk to support Asifiwe Child Care Ministries!
Our 5k run is professionally chip timed and there will be prizes and medals for top 3 overall male and female and medals for top male and female in their age categories.
***There will be raffle giveaways, soft pretzels, baked goods, face painting, balloon animals, and much more!***
This year's goal is to raise $30,000 for Asifiwe Child Care Ministries, a non-profit organization in Uganda dedicated to restoring the lives of the countless children who have been orphaned, abandoned, and abused. Asifiwe's desire is to restore hope and rebuild lives through providing a loving family, an education with academic and practical life skills, medical care and spiritual and emotional support. Asifiwe believes that it is the love of Jesus Christ that is able to transform their lives and heal the pain of their past. More about this ministry can be learned at http://asifiwechildcare.org/
