988 Day is a Day of Action held annually on 9/8. The goal of 988 Day is to raise awareness and positive buzz about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline through a variety of creative activities spearheaded by communities, organizations, and individuals.
This year's theme is Compassionate Help. Anytime. Anywhere.
•All day people from all over will be posting to their different social media with the hashtag #988Day with the activities they have chosen.
• To not overwhelm The Bridge's Facebook page I have created a Bridge Connection Recovery Drop-In group page for participants to post our rock painting, temporary tattoos, stress balls, yoga poses, gratitude, positivity, and tons of awareness with the hashtags #988Day and #BridgeConnectionRecoveryDropIn
• plus enter your name into the drawing for $50 gift certificate to the 'Touch of Health Holistic Center' in honor of National Recovery Month - the drawing will be at the end of the month (the more events & drop-ins you attend the better your odds)
