About this Event
Join us for the 914United Film Tour at The Reformed Church of Bronxville—an exclusive screening and powerful community dialogue centered on justice, healing, and second chances.
This event features two short films that share the transformative and resilient stories behind 914United: from its founding by formerly incarcerated leaders to its mission of empowering justice-impacted youth across Westchester County. These films are not only narratives of personal redemption, but also a testament to the strength of community in creating new pathways forward.
Following the screening, a live panel discussion with local leaders and changemakers will explore critical topics such as reentry, youth diversion, violence prevention, and public safety. The discussion will be hosted and moderated by 914United Founder and CEO Jonathan Alvarez, featuring key leaders such as Jamell Scott (Principal of Barack Obama School for Social Justice), Dr. Joe Williams (LCSW) and Amanda Nathan (Project Director, New Rochelle Center for Justice Innocation), and Jerome Brooks (914United Youth Ambassador).
Launched earlier this year in Pelham, the 914United Film Tour has already drawn over 100 attendees and sparked deep conversations about collective accountability, equity, and hope. Now, we're bringing that momentum to Bronxville to inspire action and build stronger, more connected communities.
A short video recap of the Pelham event is featured below—offering a glimpse into the powerful conversations and community energy behind the tour.
Come experience the movement—and the stories that are reshaping what’s possible.
