Join us as we celebrate the Salt Lake Buddhist Temple's 90th annual Obon Festival to honor and celebrate our ancestors!
- Food service starts at 3:00-7:00. Traditional Japanese dishes including teriyaki chicken, cold noodles, sushi, and more.
- Chapel Tours begin at 3:00p.m.
- Hawaiian Dancing and Taiko Drumming starts our festival entertainment at 7:00p.m. followed by beautiful traditional dancing to honor our loved ones who are no longer with us.
Admission is free! Come to the Obon Festival at 211 West 100 South on historic Japantown Street.
Dance practices are every Monday through Thursday from 7pm-9pm starting June 29th in the temple gymnasium.
