Dettling Appalachian Oak Barrel #526 - 216 Bottles Available

This is the sister barrel to the yellow wax barrel #527 that we dropped over the summer and is the last Dettling Appalachian Oak barrel in existence.
We will be releasing 40 bottles online at 12:00pm the same day for those who can't make it. The same 1 bottle per person applies
Then, from 11-3pm, Leah will be doing an Orin Swift Wine Tasting with pairings and sweets from Barbara Ann's Cottage.
MERCURY HEAD NAPA CABERNET- 95 Points Robert Parker
- "Sourced largely from Stagecoach and Morisoli, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Mercury Head combines floral and gently leafy nuances with bold red fruit—cherries and redcurrants. Aged 13 months in 60% new French oak, it's full-bodied, broad and expansive, then slightly warming, long and velvety on the finish."
PALERMO NAPA CABERNET
- 2022 Palermo-opens with notes of crunchy cassis, muddled boysenberry, ripe elderberry chapparal and cedar. The palate continues many of the aromatics with traces of cassis, blackberry, savory and thyme. Effuse with ripe dark fruits but also complex savory tones, the wine closes with long and soft tannin chains and hints of licorice, black pepper and star anise.
MACHETE - Red Blend: Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache
- the wine opens with powerful notes of bright black plum, slate, cacao, wild sage and crushed gravel. The transition to the palate screams with its brawny presence of brooding blackberry pie and ripe blue fruits yet tempered with hints of orange peel and Amarena cherry. Chewy tannins, typical of Petite Sirah, soften over time and culminate in a lengthy finish with a note of sweet oak.
SIGN OF THE TIMES - Red Blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, and Grenache��
- Pleasing opening aromatics have notes of black plum, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and leather. The palate centers the attention with tones of blue fruits , more cassis , a hint of licorice and sweet oak. Well integrated tannins keep the wine approachable in its youth while the balancing acidity gives it some aging potential.
BLANK STARE 2023
- Glowing in the glass, the aromatics concentrate with notes of lemongrass, fresh-cut grass and hints of lavender, cream, and jasmine. On the palate, the entry is all acidity but with a serious mid-palate—lively flavors of kiwi, lime, and intriguing minerality. The finish is bright and youthful with a slight Meyer lemon rind closing out the wine. winery
