11-12pm: Cultura Ancestral Loiceña: Ven a compartir una experiencia única, donde disfrutarás de la bomba del pueblo de la tradición, Loíza. En este taller tendrás la oportunidad de canalizar tus alegrías y tristezas. Aprende hablar con tu cuerpo lo que tu mente y corazon siente (pasado, presente y futuro) y sobretodo disfrutar de algunos de los ritmos más cadenciosos de la bomba puertorriqueña. Loíza Ancestral Culture: Come share a unique, interactive experience where you'll enjoy the traditional bomba music and dance from the town of Loíza. By Nercy Córdova Rodríguez, Raúl de la Paz, and Dr. Pablo Luis Rivera, direct from Puerto Rico.
12-1pm - Introduction to Capoeira: This workshop is open to all levels and will cover the foundational movements of Capoeira (Ginga, Esquiva, e ataque) as well as music and history. By Capoeira Luanda & Ilê Bahia de SA, Marcia Workman & Luiz Coutinho.
