Welcome to Call of the Woods! We organise weekly walks for exchange students, foreign students and expats.
For our 8th walk we will go from Blansko to the Macocha Abyss, and back to Blansko. The total distance is 20 km. Halfway the walk we will reach the Macocha Abyss, one of the most spectacular natural sights in the Czech Republic. We will have the main break there, at the restaurant. After that, there is a challenging climb ahead. :)
We will meet at 9:45 in the main hall of the railway station. At 10:00 we will take the train to Blansko.
Tickets: you will need 2 tickets of 3 zones (if you have a tram pass) or 2 tickets of 4 zones (if you don't have a tram pass). Please buy your tickets beforehand if you can (from the yellow ticket machines), otherwise come a bit earlier to the meeting point.
This walk contains some steep parts and some rocky terrain, so it is best to wear shoes with some profile. It is not technically difficult, but expect to be tired by the time you get back home.
