Hello Again!
It’s that time again. We will be putting together 1,000-ish decorated bags full of all things sweet and delicious to gift to our friends for Christmas. Again this year, we will be in the Thrive Center of A Turning Point who has graciously donated space for us to use.
This is a fun event for the entire family. How can you help?
1.) THE STAR OF THE SHOW…. THE GOODS!! Spread the word to your family and friends and see if they would like to make or bake their favorite holiday goodies to be shared with some of our folks. Items would need to be dropped off with one of our coordinators or brought directly to “A Turning Point” in Gladstone. This is where we will be packaging and preparing our goody bags to hand out.
2.) Donate tape, gloves, boxes or tissue paper
3.) Meet us at the noted address for a morning full of fun with some of the most fantastic people you will ever meet!
4.) Offer to be a drop off location. Just have to have all items to the church by 10:00 AM Saturday morning. (I will start a comment thread for this)
5.) if you would like to help distribute on Saturday or Sunday please reach out to me and Incan help point you in the right direction.
Each year we have done this the turn out has been so great. I'd expect nothing short of that this year. You all are amazing and never disappoint!
This year we have several Girl Scout troops decorating all the bags for us. We will not need to wrap like we have in years past but we will need folks who can adjust, redistribute or do a quality assurance check before taping up and storing to prepare for delivery. We have lots of eager little helpers so a Quick Look may be necessary. lol So if you need a sit down job, this would be a great spot for you!
