For the 8th year in a row we’ll be handing out free refurbished kid’s bikes for the holiday season. If you know of any families in need this year please send them our way. The final count on bikes looks like we’ll have +100 bikes to giveaway along with free helmets.
In order to reach as many families as we can we are limiting the giveaway to two bikes per family. If there are bikes remaining after everyone has been through the line, you’re welcome to grab another one.
Bikes will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis.
This year we’ll be partnering with our neighbors at the Allen Neighborhood Center to use their space for the day of the giveaway. They are located at 1611 E Kalamazoo St. The parking lot can be accessed from Shepard St.
If you would like to volunteer on the day of the giveaway please send us a message. We’ll need help shuttling the bikes, setting up the space, organizing the line, fitting kids with helmets, handing out hot chocolate, taking photographs etc…
