We’re a group of 5 friends, each working in different construction trades, who’ve always been passionate about supporting our community. Before we created Reconstructing Hope, we were regularly supporting local charities, helping people in need, and organizing fundraising events to give back. In 2021, we decided to come together and form our own charity after seeing firsthand the struggles hardworking people face—from daily challenges like keeping the lights on to catastrophic life events.Our goal with Reconstructing Hope is to have a direct and lasting impact on our community. Not one of us takes a paycheck for this work, and through our individual companies, we sponsor, donate, and dedicate our time—and our employees’ time—to make sure we can help those in need.

This year’s event will benefit local trades workers who’ve fallen on hard times. It’s a great chance to enjoy some fun competition while supporting an important cause.
