Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026 for Grass Roots Rescue’s 8th Annual Heels & Hooch Gala. This years Gala is being held at The Atlantic Sands Hotel, in Rehoboth Beach, DE from 5:00PM to 10:00PM. Our theme is "Written in the Stars, A Night of Second Chances"!!Tickets are $125 each, or $200 per couple and include hors d’ouevres, dinner, music by Kenny Flight, dancing, silent and live auctions, door prizes and a cash bar (open bar availability for an additional fee).
All proceeds from this evening directly support the dogs of Grass Roots Rescue, the perfectly imperfect souls who simply needed someone willing to fight for them.
Grass Roots Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on the belief that a dog’s worth is not defined by breed, age, or medical condition. We step in for the ones who are overlooked, the ones who need extra time, extra care, and sometimes extraordinary medical intervention. Whether they come from overcrowded and high-risk shelters, unsafe situations, or owner surrenders, each dog who enters our care is given the same promise: we will not give up on you.
That promise requires more than compassion — it requires action, resources, and a community willing to stand behind the work.
When you attend this gala, you are doing far more than enjoying a beautiful evening. You are funding life-saving surgeries, emergency veterinary care, vaccinations, rehabilitation, and the daily support that allows our foster homes to continue saying “yes.” You are ensuring that when the next urgent call comes, we have the ability to answer it without hesitation.
